Cleans and changeovers run to schedule. On ECOai sites, our daily AI check flags full bins and open fences, so changeovers are booked off the photo, not a guess.
ECOai: eyes on every site, every day
ECOai is our own autonomous site camera system, two years in development. Each camera runs on solar and 4G, so it doesn't need site power or Wi-Fi.
Every day our AI checks each site and flags what needs fixing, then the site supervisor gets an email with the photos:

- Site access problems, like a blocked driveway
- General OH&S and housekeeping issues

Which areas do you cover?
Melbourne and regional Victoria. We're based in Hallam and run our own trucks, so put your site suburb in the form and we'll confirm.
Can you look after all our sites, not just one?
Yes. Most of our work is for volume and commercial builders. We set up each site with the right bins and clean stages, work on PO pricing, and keep every clean on track with our scheduling software.
What's an ECObin?
It's a robust steel structure we set up on site to hold our 5.3 m³ cage bags. The trades have one tidy, secure place for their rubbish, and unlike a traditional skip there's no pressure on when it gets collected. We swap the bags when you need them. We also supply 3 m³ bags for Hebel and plaster offcuts.
What is ECOai and does it cost extra?
ECOai is our solar, 4G site camera system. Every day our AI checks each site for full bins, open fences, access problems and general OH&S issues, and the supervisor gets an email with photos. It's included in our full builder packages, and you can hire it on its own too. Call us for pricing.
What can go in a skip or hook bin?
It depends on the waste type you book: green waste/gypsum, light/domestic, bricks & concrete only, clean spoil only, or heavy waste. No bricks, soil or concrete in green waste or light bins. See the full list on our skip bin page.
Do I need a permit if the bin goes on the street?
Yes, a bin on the road or nature strip usually needs a council permit. Permits are from $140 + GST. Let us know when you book.
Where does the waste go?
Through TIP 360, the transfer station managed by Ecotrans, where it's sorted so as much as possible gets recycled instead of going to landfill. That work won us the Casey Business Awards 2023 Environmental Sustainability Practices award.
Do you do domestic skips too?
Yes. Homeowners can see sizes and prices and book on our skip bin page.
